I . Slitting Machine General introduction

- Purpose: It is suitable for longitudinal shearing of metal strips and rewinding the slit strips into rolls.
- Advantages: convenient operation, high cutting quality, high material utilization, and stepless speed regulation of cutting speed.
- Structure: It consists of unwinding (unwinding), leading material positioning, slitting and slitting, coiling (rewinding), etc.

III . Slitting Machine Types
- Single entry looper slitting
In this type of slitting, a looper is installed in front of the shearing machine. There are central drive unwinding, tension unwinding, floating roller controlled unwinding, etc. to send the strip to the entrance loop. This method can realize micro-tension or zero-tension shearing, avoiding the phenomenon of shear blade slippage; meanwhile, the uncoiler does not need a centering device, and the strip is centered in a looper.
- Single export looper slitting
In this type of slitting, a looper is set behind the shearing machine, and the cut strip is pushed by the shearing machine into the tension-free looper between the shearing machine and the tensioning device. For thin strips, in order to ensure stable unwinding of the strip during cutting, an entrance edge guide system may be required. This method can effectively avoid the problem of unsynchronized coiling of various strips caused by the thickness difference, and realize the coiling of the coil by controlling the coiling tension; due to the setting of the exit loop, the strip can freely flow out of the cutting edge, avoiding tension The wear of the strip to the cutting blade in the state affects the life of the cutting blade; at the same time, because the outlet is tension-free, the strip shrinkage and other phenomena are avoided. Single-export loopers are used more.
- Double looper slitting
Double looper slitting combines two types of inlet looper slitting and outlet looper slitting. After the strip leaves the coiler before entering the shearing machine, it is fed into a free looper by the uncoiler or a pinch roller device or tension device, and the cut strip is sent to another after leaving the shearing machine Looper, and then enter the tensioner. Therefore, this type of slitting is called “double looper” slitting. With this form of slitting, the slitting machine is only used to split the strip, thus eliminating the possibility of the strip slipping at the edge of the scissors. This method neutralizes the characteristics of single inlet looper and single outlet looper and is suitable for cutting thin and soft strips.
